It is disappointing to see his items being sold at a garage sale thought the family would have kept these in memory of. Strange world isn't it.

Ross DuncanRoss Duncanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14091057384880119084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9101518.post-24165288140336166732017-01-03T15:05:30.094-07:002017-01-03T15:05:30.094-07:00I have his game used pads blocker and ketcher I li...I have his game used pads blocker and ketcher I lived next to him and after he passed I got them from a yard sail his wife had of his stuffAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15969949509609870331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9101518.post-37237398563423242092015-01-10T14:30:27.947-07:002015-01-10T14:30:27.947-07:00Interesting article on Mr. Rutledge- thanks for po...Interesting article on Mr. Rutledge- thanks for posting.
What I find intriguing is that it appears he was property of the Boston Bruins by playing for their junior affiliates (Barrie/Niagara Falls Flyers) for three seasons (1959-62). That means he most likely signed a C-form with the Bruins as a teenager. To get out of such a contract one had to sit out an entire season and only play in a non NHL affiliation league, which he did (1962-64). I think the New York Rangers then signed him as a "free agent" and he played for three Rangers minor league teams (1964-67) before being the last goalie selected in the 1967 NHL Expansion Draft.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17521449471079383774noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9101518.post-7213935637236521232012-05-28T09:21:33.198-06:002012-05-28T09:21:33.198-06:00Ive been a Kings fan since the day Gretzky got tra...Ive been a Kings fan since the day Gretzky got traded from the Oilers. I live in Southern Ontario and it is my dream to go see game 4. Tickets seems either very difficult or really pricey thru ticket sites. Was was excited when i scoored Kings tickets but the Rangers just tied it up So if i do end up going to L.A. I want to party with some die hard Kings fans .Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
